After graduating as a master in animation at the Luca School of Arts in Genk, Belgium, things got rolling.
My graduation short Mouse for sale got picked up by a bunch of international film festivals and received over a dozen of prizes including the coveted VAF Wildcard, granting the winner a scholarship to create their first professional short film. This resulted in Mia.
Mia was my directional debut, which we made at Creative Conspiracy, an animation studio based in Gent. The film travelled the globe picking up prizes in Clermont-Ferrand, the Austin Film Festival and Anima Brussels among others. The short also made it to the Academy Oscar longlist selection.
Starting 2018 I finished my latest short Panta Rhei, a 2D production for a change. I chose to work with Creative Conspiracy again for this project. Panta Rhei will start its festival life now.
Having directed several animated shorts, a TV series pilot and a bunch of commercials I profile myself as an animation director, but I still enjoy working on all aspects of animation as a freelancer animator.
